Summary:

Under direct supervision, this position performs a variety of routine clerical duties ensuring the timely and accurate processing of paper and or electronic data under strict departmental processing standards and guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide support for ACH processes including troubleshooting file issues and escalating issues when appropriate.
• Follow policies and procedures in order to comply with banking rules and regulations including proper documentation and accurate recordkeeping.
• Respond to inquiries related to ACH activities from various internal sources while applying sound decision-making techniques and exhibiting necessary follow-through.
• Processes ACH windows including balancing and working ACH suspended files.
• Gathers, compiles, sorts, verifies and enters the required information into the system to ensure timely and accurate data processing.
• Prepares a variety of standard reports for the department.
• Assists internal and external customers with simple routine questions; refers to supervisor for complex issues and or to the appropriate department.
• Maintains all documentation according to departmental and company retention guidelines.
• Ensures information requests are handled in accordance with departmental and company policies and procedures.
• Completes, passes and maintains an up-to-date status for all positional and company required compliance and regulatory courses by assigned due date(s).
