Supports the Satellite Communications Chief and Director of Command, Control and Communications Infrastructure at the Department of Defense Office of the Chief Information Officer (DoD CIO) as an Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (AISR) subject matter expert. Expected knowledge in the current AISR architectures employed by the DoD with a specific focus on ground and ground relay solutions. Candidate must have excellent writing and speaking skills to participate in senior leader governance and decision forums. Knowlege of the Programming, Planning and Budgeting Execution System (PPBES) is mandatory. Candidate will be expected to understand the DoD's Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process to track resourcing against validated AISR requirements.

Candidate is expected to travel several times a year to AISR conferences and author engagement reports for all conferences and meetings as well as point papers to inform senior leaders. All work is performed in-person at the Mark Center in Alexandria, Virginia.
