About This Role
The Associate Director, Lupus Market Access Strategy is accountable for shaping and executing the US payer, provider, and reimbursement access strategy for Lupus. This role owns the translation of brand ambition into actionable access strategy and payer-facing marketing execution, ensuring that pricing, evidence, reimbursement, and channel tactics collectively enable optimal patient access.
The Associate Director serves as a strategic and operational leader, shaping access direction while also driving the development, approval, and deployment of payer, pricing, and reimbursement initiatives across commercial and government channels.
WhatYou WillDo
Drive market access launch strategy as well as development and execution of payer, pricing, and reimbursement marketing initiatives
Ensure alignment and coordination of market access launch strategies across both commercial and government payers with US Brand/commercial partners
Liaise with Global Value & Access / HEOR teams and US commercial teams to build the payer value narrative, pricing strategy and access messaging tailored to various stakeholders, including government and private payers, health plans, GPOs and PBMs
Collaborate with National/Regional/Trade Account teams and field reimbursement teams to understand field needs; design and execute impactful tactics and training programs
Develop and deliverappropriatepre-and post-launch payer and channel resources(e.g.,Disease State education, PIE,Economic Considerations, BIM, PVPand pull-through resources)
Own the regulatory and legal approval (Promotional Review Committee/PRC) of all payer and reimbursement marketing materials
Manage our vendor agencies of record to ensure fulfillment and execution of strategies, projects, and tactics within budget
Lead the annual brand planning process for the market access team
Partner closely withBusiness Insights & Analytics,HCPMarketing,Patient Marketing,Medical, Advocacy, Global andU.S.Franchiseleadership tomonitortheprogress of the various initiatives and adjustexecution planappropriately

Required Skills
BA,BSor equivalentrequired, MBA preferred
7+ years of pharmaceutical, biopharma industryexperience,includingdirect responsibility for pricing strategy, scenario modeling and launch strategy
Demonstrated understanding of payer market dynamics as it relates to commercialization, pricing,specialtydistribution,and overallaccessforspecialty medicines(commercial,Medicare PartD,FFS/ManagedMedicaid, and VA/DoD)
Experience in developing tools, tactics and messaging applicable to US payer marketsand customers
Strong senseof professionalism,accountability,and urgency for defined areas of responsibility
Strong project management skills with the ability to independently drive projects forwardto meet budgets and timelines
Ability to communicate tactical direction and related concepts clearly, orally and in writing, across internal and external audiences (e.g.,payer account team,sales, marketing, advocacy)
Heightened ability to collaborate, influence, and work with awide array of internal and external stakeholdersto successfully deliver results
Experience managing multiple demands and priorities on timeand under business constraints

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
