Job Summary: As a Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless preparation of banquet facilities, serving our valued guests, and assisting in the supervision of banquet staff. Your role will be pivotal in creating unforgettable events for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee banquet staff during events.
- Assist in managing the banquet department.
- Review event orders and prepare banquet rooms.
- Maintain food and beverage levels and proper service pacing.
- Report equipment issues and perform opening/closing procedures.
- Schedule staff and present bills to customers, addressing any concerns.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED, with one year of related experience.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math proficiency and computer skills.
- Current food handler card and liquor service permit.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
