Job Purpose
Experience the personal challenge of working for a world class organization and leader in the utilities and energy industry as a Clerk - Control Prop Maintenance 40 in our Fleet Services Department in Brooklyn (Greenpoint), NY.
Key Accountabilities
* Responsible for maintaining the scheduling and control systems for garage locations.
* Perform data entry job information and individual mechanic update reports.
* Review schedules for discrepancies or negative trends.
* Advise supervisors of vehicles with high maintenance frequencies.
* Maintain Vehicle & work Equipment Data Base.
* Assist in the maintenance of Fleet Services records and files.
* Distribute reports and communications to satellite garages.
* Contact contractors, vendors, and other departments in connection with vehicle repair work.
* Prepare and maintain time reports.
* Operation of office and processing equipment.
* Perform similar or less skilled work.
* Assist with various permits
Qualifications
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Comprehension abilities to post information.
- Ability to perform simple arithmetical computations.
- Computer proficiency, including typing skills required.
- Must have professional communication skills.
- Familiarity with SAP preferred.
- In addition to possessing the qualifications for this vacancy, employees selected will be expected to work overtime in accordance with departmental requirements and to participate in the department's emergency restoration program as may be required.
- Candidates for this position will be required to successfully pass clerical test.
Pay Rate: $43.93
Location: Brooklyn (Greenpoint), NY
