Full Job Description
Jered, a PAR Systems Company, is currently seeking a seasoned Contract Manager to lead and oversee the strategic direction of our contract administration function. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, guiding internal stakeholders on contractual rights and responsibilities, and driving negotiations that align with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in U.S. Government contracting, proven ability to manage complex agreements, and a demonstrated history of providing business-critical advice across all organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership: Direct and shape the organization's contract administration strategy to align with business goals
* Advisory Role: Serve as the contractual subject matter expert for senior leaders, including the Business Group President, Program Managers, and functional teams such as Procurement, Pricing, Finance, and Engineering
* Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, including reporting and regulatory requirements
* Contract Management: Oversee a variety of agreements, including Teaming Agreements (TAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and Long-Term Agreements (LTAs)
* Legal Collaboration: Partner with the corporate legal team to ensure alignment of proposals, negotiations, and contract administration with company policies and legal standards
* Proposal Development: Analyze RFPs, identify contractual requirements, risks, and cost drivers, and contribute to the preparation of competitive and compliant proposals
* Negotiation Leadership: Lead negotiations on complex or high-value contracts, leveraging deep knowledge of the contract lifecycle and applicable government regulations
* Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures to govern contract administration and ensure compliance with terms and conditions
* Record Maintenance: Maintain thorough and accurate contract records to support compliance and reporting requirements

* 5+ years of progressive, relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
* 5+ years of experience with legal and regulatory requirements, including FAR, DFARS, CAS, and other government procurement regulations.
* Proven leadership experience with demonstrated expertise in Federal Government contracts.
* Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-technology environment with significant ownership and accountability.
* A collaborative mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
* US Person
Preferred Qualifications
* 10+ years of contract management experience focused on Federal Government contracting.
* 10+ years of experience with government proposals.
* Experience in international contracting
