IS Epic Application Analyst 2 - Ambulatory & MyChart
Full Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Epic Analyst II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in EpicCare Ambulatory and/or MyChart and demonstrate a willingness to grow professionally, gain additional certifications, and expand their expertise. This role will focus on project-based work, requiring strong collaboration with team members and active engagement with stakeholders to ensure the success of our healthcare technology initiatives. Experience with Dorothy, Kaleidoscope, ECLink, and Bones modules is a significant advantage. DFW residents preferred. Open to other Texas residents if willing to travel to Dallas monthly.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Serve as a key contributor to project-based implementations, upgrades, and optimization efforts within the Epic environment.
Analyze, design, configure, test, and deploy Epic solutions with a focus on enhancing system functionality and user experience.
Collaborate with team members, clinical staff, and other stakeholders to identify workflow improvements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Expand knowledge to other outpatient applications, including Dorothy, Kaleidoscope, ECLink, and Bones to support upgrades and specialized projects.
Participate in cross-functional team meetings to discuss project progress, resolve issues, and plan future enhancements.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing technical support and training as needed.
Actively pursue opportunities to obtain additional Epic certifications and expand expertise in new modules or functionality areas.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, workflows, and project deliverables.
