SUMMARY
Participate in the design, development, maintenance and support of both new and existing software applications and processes typically used by the Wealth Management Business as part of the Wealth Management Technology Development Team. Primary work focuses on execution of user stories developed in conjunction with the Product Owner and Business Analyst while following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Primary work will include .Net web development, MS SQL Server Database development, Javascript, JQuery, CSS and Cloud-native development (.net core and React.js). This position will be a member of the Wealth Management Agile team and will participate in Agile ceremonies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
- Design and Normalize data sets including processes for data extraction and loading.
- Code, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.
- Troubleshoot problems independently by investigating underlying problems.
- Collaborate with other resources as needed to resolve problems and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide technical support for business-critical applications.
- Document software and related systems.
- Perform Data Analysis.
- Create AD-HOC reporting.
- Perform all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position:
- Bachelor (4-year college) degree and 1-3 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Exposure to working in the Financial Services industry with experience in Brokerage/Trust/Financial Planning systems preferred.
COMPUTER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS
- Exposure to legacy .NET WebForms and the ability to help migrate to .NET Core
- C# .NET development experience up to the latest .NET frameworks
- React.Js development experience and
- Microsoft SQL Server – Understanding of stored procedures, ETL process and reporting.
- Exposure to working with big data technologies such as Asure Data Lake.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Experience with the following systems preferred:
- IBM Mainframe Transmission Jobs
- ETL design and development on IBM InfoSphere/Datastage
