As a Line 1 Unscrambler operator you will be assigned to and be responsible for job tasks within the Syrup/Sauce/Dressing Processing and Packaging Departments in our St. Elmo, Illinois facility reporting to the Team Leader. You will need to train and understand the job responsibilities to perform them.
You must be familiar and able to monitor and operate the equipment required for the position assigned and complete any required checks and paperwork.
Lifting requirements may include lifting of up to 35 pounds. Operation of a forklift and able to maintain a forklift operator's license is required.
A Day in the Life of an Unscrambler Operator
You will unload empty bottles from trailers and supply bottles to line filler ensuring that the proper bottle per minute target is achieved during production runs. You will operate equipment and be responsible for changeovers.
You Will:
Ensure actions are consistent with and support plant safety goals and procedures.
You shall follow all Good Manufacturing Practices
Complete a daily pre-shift forklift inspection sheet, report any shift issues.
Change the forklift battery and assist others if necessary to ensure safe battery changing procedures are followed.
Complete proper receiving documentation on inbound loads
You will be responsible for completion of all required documentation.
Pull totes (60 lbs)
You will stack recyclable totes and lids
Know and perform all sanitation requirements of processing and production, follow correct procedures, sanitation processes and safe use of chemicals.
You Have:
Must maintain a valid PIV operator license as issued by plant policy.
