Job Description General:
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Engineer is a process owner responsible for identifying and leading process improvement and support for all logistics activities. These activities include receiving, parts storage, inventory control, stockroom and shipping. This role provides technical support, analysis and project leadership in support of department and company objectives.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $70735 - $120250
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Engineer is a process owner responsible for identifying and leading process improvement and support for all logistics activities. These activities include receiving, parts storage, inventory control, stockroom and shipping. This role provides technical support, analysis and project leadership in support of department and company objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with associates to improve efficiency, productivity and processes.
- Development and ownership of logistics metrics platform, making improvement recommendations based on analysis.
- Evaluate existing capabilities and establish new systems, technologies and processes for improved efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts as the CIA champion including timely response/resolution to associates improvement ideas.
- Lead the Value Stream Assessment process.
- Analyze existing use of storage space and develop more efficient methods / layouts.
- Lead the analysis and provide technical leadership on improving the flow of materials through the logistics process.
- Ensure all system and technology needs are met for new hires.
- Provide technical support for all logistics teams.
- Develop inventory accuracy improvement tools and methods for stockroom.
- Develop shipping and receiving improvement tools
- Provide support and leadership on internal and external audits.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, logistics or related field.
- 1-3 years related experience.
- Knowledge of computerized manufacturing systems and inventory control processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills including effective communication to build relationships with internal and external business partners.
- Excellent analytic and problem solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS office.
