We are seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. In this Manufacturing Engineer role, you will be part of a small and energetic team of manufacturing engineers enabling the production of complex electronic products to be used in airborne and ruggedized ground support applications. You will work in our state-of-the-art production facility and support assembly, test, and quality inspection. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with an attitude of continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Write detailed work-instructions defining the assembly, test, and quality inspection of complex electronic products.
- Assist in quality inspection of incoming components.
- Work with design engineers and production team to lead the resolution of problems in real-time for manufacturing and test issues
- Participate in Kaizen and other continuous improvement events
- Define manufacturing workflow and production facility requirements
- Design, implement, and maintain the production tooling and test equipment
- Review new product designs for manufacturability and testability
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field -OR- 5 years of experience working as a Manufacturing Technician in similar role
- A passion for manufacturing engineering and a desire to learn and progress in a manufacturing engineering career.
- A very high attention to detail.
- Ability to understand complex engineering drawings.
- Ability to understand complex quality processes such as AS9145.
