Overview
Overview: Responsible for performing the physical tasks involved in the , receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies to manufacturing floor Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary. Pulls and fullfill process orders for manufacturing May use (but not limited to) power equipment such as a forklift, hand tools, and other devices operated in a warehouse environment. Cycle counting daily to insure inventory accuracy
Responsibilities
- Receiving and putting away inventory
- Picking, packing, and processing orders
- Staging and loading orders
- Inventory and order auditing, including cycle counts
- Operating powered and manual material handling equipment
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment inside
- Loading and unloading inventory from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas
- Ensuring all incoming delivery matches the company purchase order
Qualifications
- Two years of manufacturing and warehouse experience required.
- Proven experience in inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with pallet jack operation.
- Experience with RF scanners for inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, specifically SAP is required.
- Experience in order picking, shipping & receiving processes.
- Knowledge and experience with hazardous materials handling
