As a Program Specialist II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in assisting and managing programs within the Honeywell Building Automation (BA) business unit. Your expertise in program management and coordination will contribute to the success of our projects and initiatives.
You will report directly to our Program Manager and you'll work out of our designated location in Herndon, VA on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the execution and delivery of programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the desired objectives. You will work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and operations, to drive program success and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Coordinate and manage program activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget tracking
* Work with cross-functional teams to ensure program objectives are met
* Monitor program progress and identify potential risks or issues, implementing mitigation strategies
* Prepare and present program status reports to stakeholders
* Facilitate the development and implementation of program management best practices
YOU MUST HAVE
* 2+ years of experience in program management or a related field
* Strong organizational and coordination skills
* Excellent communication and people-oriented skills
* US citizenship

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
* Experience in the building automation industry
* Project management certification (e.g., PMP)
* Knowledge of program management best practices and tools
