JustinBradley’s client is an organization established by key members in the U.S. banking sector to address and mitigate risk relating to critical financial systems across the country. This organization facilitates proactive collaboration between the U.S. Government and industry partners to analyze, monitor and develop strategies to make critical systems more resilient.
Our client is seeking a Manager of Risk Operations to join a team who is focused on improving the financial sector’s ability to address systemic risk. The Manager will plan and execute risk initiatives as well as lead and facilitate teams in a high-profile environment and communicating with the upper levels of the U.S. Government and industry members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute risk initiatives to identify and mitigate systemic risk in the U.S. financial sector.
- Facilitate the development of sector led solutions.
- Track identified risks and assess based on key criteria to aid in prioritization
- Develop metrics to measure effectiveness of initiatives.
- Liaise with cross functional leads to support early detection of threats.
- Assist in the development of communications to members and regulators.
Key Qualifications and Experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field or equivalent work experience in related fields
- Financial services sector experience in managing operational risk, resilience, and/or leading first-line operations at a large financial services organization, financial market infrastructure operator or relevant government organization
- Ability to facilitate collaboration, build trusted relationships and drive consensus
- Must be able to qualify for secret level clearance
- Background Check is required
Compensation Range: $150,000/year – $170,000/year
