The Role
Treasury is looking for a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our Funds Transfer Domestic division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in money movement, operational oversight, project management and data analytics. The Senior Manager will lead a team of # operational associates to ensure high quality work that provides stellar customer service to both our internal business partners and external customers. You will work closely with our processing banks to streamline our workflow, meet daily deadlines, and develop a strategic roadmap for future enhancements. Additionally, you will be able to lead change through implementing operational improvements and system enhancements that will increase processing efficiency, quality and reduce overall firm risk. The department will continue to enhance our daily reporting to identify trends related to money movement and present to senior management and cross line of business partners.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee day to day operations, including ACH, Digital Payments and Wire transaction processing and respond to investigation inquiries
- Resolve complex money movement issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Create strong working relationship with our processing bank partner
- Stay informed about industry trends, new regulations (SWIFT, FED and NACHA) to ensure our full compliance
- Maintain up to date policy and procedures, as well as supervisory controls for all functions performed
- Ability to cross train and provide managerial oversight within Cash Management Services department
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 10+ years of working in Operations and/or Funds Transfer
- Strong knowledge of money movement, key regulations, and industry best practices
- Analytical attitude, highly detailed oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to resolve complex money movement escalations
- Collaborate and develop deep relationships with internal and external business partners, including our Client Experience teams, Margin, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Technology and Vendors
- FINRA Series 99 required; within 90 days of hire
- NOTE: This role is available at our Jersey City, NJ location only.
The Team
The Operations and Services Group (OSG), Treasury Management Services division provides cash management and banking products, operations, and advisory services in support of the various lines of business. The domestic Cash Management Services team supports timely and accurate Money Movement transaction processing and investigation inquires related to Wires, ACH and Digital Payments for our customers while adhering to policy, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
The base salary range for this position is $71,000-$120,000 per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
