The Role

As Senior Manager, you are an integral part of the Technology & Solutions marketing team and will have three key roles:
Collaborate with business and marketing leaders to help implement annual marketing strategy that directly aligns with key business priorities.
Develop subject matter expertise in the institutional market and in domains, including Managed Accounts and Portfolio Construction.
Implement omni-channel marketing programs promoting relevant products and solutions to our target audience.
You'll be working closely with a cross-functional marketing team and lead a wide range of projects that may include digital marketing campaigns, industry conferences and events, social media, client communications and platform and product promotional efforts. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role with opportunities to collaborate across many parts of the Fidelity Institutional and Asset Management organizations.
The Senior Manager will handle several projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and coordinating with many internal partners. The role requires partnering closely with the sales and product teams, relationship managers, marketing peers and cross functional business partners to ensure successful, on-time execution of marketing tactics. In this role, you will:
Implement marketing tactics that align with key business initiatives and goals.
Deliver on key marketing activities such as newsletters, webinars, monthly distribution team emails
Format content, workflow management, partner/compliance review management
Track metrics and perform on-going trend analysis
Work with distribution team leaders, marketing leaders, meetings & events, and other groups to execute a program of region-based client events, including audience targeting, invitations, event performance measurement and reporting
Learn and share trends and best practices to influence product marketing strategy, including industry and marketplace data.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a professional environment
7+ years of marketing and communications experience, including experience working on impactful business-to-business (B2B) marketing programs (financial services strongly preferred and institutional investor market experience a plus)
Experience driving communications strategies and targeted marketing plans crafted to deepen client relationships and increase engagement with prospects
Proven track record working cross-functionally while collaborating across many teams in a complex organization
Ability to proactively communicate progress updates to key partners, surface potential obstacles and assist in developing creative solutions
Curiosity to gain an in-depth understanding of market and business needs, as well as to follow Marketing trends and surface creative new ideas to the team
Ability to move quickly and maintain clear-headedness under pressure; enjoy and thrive in a very fast-paced, demanding environment
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including comfort influencing and addressing senior management
Outstanding organizational skills, consistently setting and meeting deadlines, prioritizing or re-prioritizing, and using good judgment in engaging business partners
The Team
The Technology & Solutions Marketing team is directly aligned with key business segments. This team develops and delivers relevant, differentiated and client-centric B2B marketing programs that propel Fidelity Institutional strategic product and solution focus areas by driving prospect engagement and client adoption.
The base salary range for this position is $81,000-$137,000 per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
