- Location: Must be local to Atlanta- will need to come onsite 1-2 times per month
- Length: 12+ Month Rolling Contract (likely to extend or convert)
Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Program Manager to oversee a highly complex or enterprise-wide program consisting of multiple projects. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage multiple competing workstreams, influence managers, and regularly report to Executive Leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management:Lead the management of a highly complex or enterprise-wide program, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the defined scope and business requirements.
- Leadership and Influence:Serve as a high-level leader focused on multiple competing workstreams with limited focus on financials. Influence managers and report program status to Executive Leaders regularly.
- Strategic Communication:Interface directly with all levels of leadership to manage and communicate program strategy, governance structure, status, and any changes to the program.
- Milestone Tracking:Track key program and project milestones, ensuring continuous alignment with program objectives.
- Risk Management:Identify program risks, develop a risk management plan, and actively manage risks throughout the program lifecycle.
- Resource Management:Identify and communicate the collective resource requirements of the program. Collaborate with responsible managers to develop and maintain a resource plan.
- Stakeholder Interaction:Manage interactions between customers, vendors, and internal project team members to ensure positive program and project outcomes.
- Governance and Change Control:Develop and manage the governance structure and change control process for the program.
- Reporting and Financials:Responsible for status reporting, program estimating, monthly cost accounting, and vendor invoice processing.
- Vendor Management:Develop and/or monitor vendor deliverables in compliance with binding statements of work.
- Education:Bachelor's degree in a related field is highly desirable.
- Certifications:Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Program Management Professional (PgPM) certification preferred.
- Experience:Proven experience in managing complex programs with multiple projects.
- Skills:
- Must have:High-level proficiency with Clarity PPM.
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and MS Project) and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Competencies:Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills. Ability to assess dependencies among projects and ensure continuous alignment with program objectives.
