As a Trolling Quality Manager, you will lead a team in a dynamic, stimulating production environment supplying specialty chemicals. You will be responsible for all aspects of plant operations, leading and motivating your team to achieve established targets. You will take ownership of process improvements to ensure the quality, efficiency, and delivery of key projects.
As a Trolling Quality Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Including both Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development. Includes supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence. SQEs have various levels of differentiation which are related to level of technical understanding of engineering drawings and ability to manage vendors.
- Advising Functional managers or other Functions regarding approaches, processes and procedures in the own field.
- Handlining communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems
- Leading as a project leader of medium sized projects or is a major contributor to bigger projects. Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the event
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Solid experience in Supplier Quality Engineering roles.
- Audit experience with ISO 9001:2015
- Chemicals business experience (preferred)
- Certified auditors (preferred)
