UI/UX Designer (Part-Time)

Our Client is seeking a talented Visual Product Designer to join their team and elevate their brand identity and user experience. As a Part-Time UI/UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual direction of their digital products and creating intuitive, engaging interfaces that delight their users.

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and passionate UX/UI Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the user experience across our digital platforms, primarily iOS and web. You will collaborate closely with the Product Manager to design intuitive and user-centered interfaces that drive engagement and conversion. This role focuses on “upfunnel” UX, emphasizing user personas, visual storytelling, and a strong understanding of user psychology.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research and analysis, including user interviews, surveys, and data analysis, to understand user needs and behaviors.
  • Develop and maintain user personas, journey maps, and other user-centered design artifacts.
  • Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for iOS and web applications, including wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on designs.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in UX/UI design.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of our design system.
  • Work closely with the Product Manager and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience designing for iOS and web platforms.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with design systems and component libraries.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Understanding of accessibility guidelines and best practices.
  • Experience with data analysis and A/B testing.

Their platform offers a variety of resources, including horoscopes, tarot readings, and live chats with professional experts. They are seeking a UI/UX Designer who can help them create a more engaging and personalized experience for their users.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40 to $50 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
