Full Job Description

The Warehouse staff position is responsible for providing materials and supplies by receiving,

warehousing, and distribution services to the field staff. The Warehouse Staff will maintain a

high level of accuracy in day-to-day operations, and provide a high level of customer service.

The Warehouse staff also operates equipment as needed and coordinates efficient and safe

operations of the facility.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform the efficient day-to-day organizing and safe receipt, storage and dispatch of

warehouse items

  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with software

inventory levels

  • Maintain physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing efficient

layouts for the storage of inventory

  • Contribute to the team efforts of managing inventory and the efficient preparation of

items for installers and service technicians

  • Prepare door springs for certain door installations and service
  • Create track and prepare hardware for door installations and service
  • Cut windows in certain doors as needed
  • Prepare next day work schedule orders and place ready for installers and service

technician to load

  • Prepare and install insulation for doors as needed
  • Operate fork truck or similar as needed
  • Manage requests promptly and resolve issues quickly
  • Participate in all safety and accident prevention programs to ensure all reasonable

action are taken to prevent accidents and injuries to ensure a safe and productive work

environment for all employees

  • Responsible for cost effective operations and management of inventory
  • Ensure compliance with all government, regulatory and company policies, work

procedures and instructions

  • Perform work with emphasis on core values, safety, customer service, and productivity
  • Timely follow-through of company initiatives or delegated tasks

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years in progressively responsible roles, preferably with service industry experience
  • May be required to obtain various certifications related to assigned area of

responsibility

WORK CONDITIONS:

This job operates in diverse conditions including but not limited to clerical, office setting and

outdoor environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers,

phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Outdoor environment; exposure to

extreme weather conditions; work with and around vehicles/machinery; exposure to dust and

fumes from motorized equipment; exposure to noise, odors and gases; exposure to heavy

traffic conditions.

employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the

duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and

fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls. The employee is frequently required

to stand, talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds
