Job Title:  Test Facility Groundskeeper I 

Salary Range: $41,000 - $52,000 / annually; plus, bonus eligibility

Summary: Under general supervision, assist in the maintenance of turf, tees, greens, and equipment with the goal of conducting all phases of turf maintenance. Support the goal of PGA Tour conditions for product development and testing at Manchester Lane.

Responsibilities:

•    Assist in conducting a daily maintenance program, including mowing turf, divot repair, assist with irrigation repair, cart path maintenance, Spring and Fall clean-up, fairway clean up of golf balls during events, support product testing/fitting/player research, shop maintenance, hand watering as needed, sand trap edge-and-maintenance work, clean the parking lot and on-site buildings, and general landscaping. 
•   Learn the practices of turf management as it relates to the New England climate.  
•    Maintain all equipment for facility maintenance including annual service/overhaul as needed.
•   Maintain operation and safety records as necessary and receive appropriate training in order to fulfill job requirements. 

Qualifications: 

•    High School Degree. Preferably be willing and able to pursue license to apply herbicides/pesticides.
•    Preferably be willing and able to obtain state required hoist license.
•    Landscaping experience highly preferred; grounds keeping work in a golf course environment preferred.
•    Must not be adversely affected by materials in a golf course environment. Must possess basic mechanical competency.
•    Must be able to lift 50 pounds and have the physical stamina necessary to complete outdoor physical tasks for long periods of time (summer or winter conditions included).
•    Must be willing to work overtime. Must have good or corrected eyesight. Must possess accurate color vision.
