Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to direct reports and foster a high-performing work environment.
- Provide insight to the executive team regarding purchasing strategies and supplier relationships to help with key business decisions.
- Work with senior leadership to implement purchasing, supplier and contract controls across the organization.
- Establish and maintain technology supplier relationships and negotiate favorable solutions.
- Implement strategies, processes and procedures for procurement standards.
- Identify cost-savings opportunities for various business sectors.
- Lead complex and high-value contracts, purchases and services to achieve the best value for the organization.
- Create and adhere to annual budgets.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting or finance.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Experience with negotiating.
- Understanding of software licensing principles and supplier programs.
- Knowledge of commercial contracts.
